1. Privacy Policy
Selling takes place exclusively subject to the following conditions. Variations, particularly oral subsidiary agreements, are only valid if we have given written confirmation of them.
2. Jurisdiction
Any transaction between the Buyer and the Seller are governed by the laws of the province of Quebec. The Seller also reserves the right to sue the Buyer or its Guarantor, if applicable, in the province of its domicile.
3. Canadian Orders
Most in-stock orders ship within 48-hours, Monday to Friday. Orders placed on holidays or weekends will begin processing the next business day.
Orders shipping to addresses in Canada leave from our warehouse in Montreal. Standard ground shipments usually arrive within 6 business days from when they leave the warehouse.
If items in your order are out of stock we'll notify you by e-mail. Most backorders ship within 2 weeks. Please note that when your order is processed, you will receive an order confirmation verifying receipt of your order only. If items in your order are not available, we will notify you after reception of the order confirmation.
Please note we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes.
4. Free standard shipping on orders over $75
All Canadian consumer orders of $75 or more are eligible for free FedEx Ground shipping. Consumer orders under $75 ship at flat-rate of $8.
Free shipping includes North-West Territories, Yukon and Nunavut on orders of $75 or more.
Free shipping is based on the price before tax is added (if applicable).
5. Express shipping
We offer Express Shipping for only $12 on consumer orders of $75 or more. Express orders under $75 ship at a flat-rate of $20.
6. Online Pricing
All prices quoted are in Canadian dollars and do not include any applicable taxes.
7. Payment Options
We accept American Express, Visa and Master Card.
8. Sales tax
Sales tax for products ordered on this online store is based on the applicable combined federal and provincial sales tax rate. For merchandise shipped within the province of Quebec, add 6% GST and 7.5% QST. For merchandise shipped in the province of Ontario, add 6% GST and 8% PST. For British Columbia, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan, add 6% GST and 7% provincial sales tax. All other provinces, add 6% GST or 14% HST, as applicable.
9. What you can exchange or return
American Apparel unconditionally guarantees all products we manufacture and sell at our online store to be free from defects of workmanship. If you are unsatisfied with the fit, quality, color, or size of an item you may return it and choose an item in another size or color.
Items that have been laundered or altered in any way cannot be accepted for exchange or return. Return or exchange must be done within 45 days of purchase.
Items purchased from the American Apparel Online Store cannot be exchanged or returned at any American Apparel Retail Stores.
10. How to Exchange
If you would like to exchange merchandise purchased from the American Apparel Online Store for a different size or color please follow these instructions. Items purchased online cannot be returned at American Apparel Retail Stores.

12. Changes in pricing and items available
